We have seen GREAT success with this project and we hope to help so many more students!  If you’re wondering about which project to get involved in, this is currently a big need.  If you or you and a group of friends or family want to join together to help a real life, this is a great way to do it!

Eunice lives in Narok, Kenya in a manyatta house made of cow dung and mud.  She comes from a polygamous family – her father has 4 wives, 25 children, and 7 cows – and had no way of attending high school… until now.

*  When Eunice learned she was getting full scholarship for a year at St. Mary’s Secondary School, “She was shocked and very thankful! This great news of getting a sponsor made her to cry! She is so thankful for the help that will help her have a future and be a help to her community. The school teachers love and like her so much. They have hope that her education will inspire her future… and that it will inspire others.”

Abraham is an orphan whose mom died of HIV/Aids in 2008.  He has been living in Kibera, the largest slum in the world.  But now, thanks to people like you, Abraham will have an education as well as food to eat each day and a bed to sleep on each night.  This is changing his life!

There are hundreds of others we could help.  Please join us in providing a year of education for these children!

Want some more details before you dive in?  We can let you pick the person you want to help specifically.  You can sponsor the student for a year of schooling (includes room and boarding as well) and stop after that, or keep going each year.  You might have lots of questions… if so, email Cynci Petersen at cynci@thehopeventure.org for more info.  Or if you go to our donate page to donate, you can pick a certain name or just indicate that you want us to give it to the child with the most current needs and we will let you know who it ends up being.  Thanks so much!
